My persona hails from Wallachia (now known as Romania), Vladislav was the youngest son of a Wallachian Voivode who took a particualr liking to one of the scullery maids and...
Ahem anyways, when he was young, he was taken hostage by the Ottoman Turks until his father was killed several years later. During his captivity, he learned such various arts as reading, writing, philosophy, statecraft, corruption and the various meanings of "Turkish Delight"
He was then "forcibly released" by his hosts by dint of catapulting him over the walls of the city where he landed near a romany caravan... The same caravan that led him here...!
I have only just started playing after nearly 3 years of false starts (Life really has a way of getting in the way).
I am incredibly interested in combat, armouring, brewing, siege weaponry and well anything that looks interesting at the time...!
I am also currently planning on a website I am calling Big City Knights... A humour/information website based around the exploits of a bunch of SCA n00bs (ie: myself and the new recruits of the Training Lance).
Laugh as we bumble our way through the finer points of society...
Wince as you see the painful hits taken during combat training...
And Cry as you see... erm, well something that is ossibly going to make you cry anyway!
